No special housing. The salt bushes and other vegetations grow in plenty here and these camels thrive on them very well. These are adapted to feeding of the vegetation in the salt marshes. Some owners practice drenching against gastro-intestinal worms.

Any Peculiarity of the breed
Kachchhi camels can thrive without water for 2-3 days.. Most of these camels yield more than 5 kg of milk per day.
